It was a beautiful day today. A mite chilly but beautiful none the less. We played outside forever and ate our lunch out there. I read my camera manual which is laughable. I'm such a hands on learner. Well, I say that, I'm a--read it over--not really grasp it--try to do it--look back at the directions/read it over again--try to do it again--ok I think I've got it--learner. There is actually a name for that. I learned it once in Psychology class in college. However, I just heard it the one time so without my learning process, I can't tell you what it was! Wow, how's that for rambling? The whole point of this entry is to post some pics with my new camera. Its a great little point and shoot which takes pics very quickly and has some advanced features that I'm going to try hard to use. So here goes!

What a Good Girl
So I have to brag on my kid a little. As "Spirited" as she of course is, she has really evened out these days compared to our days at the group home. Its slightly scary to type these words because even though I don't believe in "jinxing" ugg, it just seems like things turn sometimes when you write things down or say it outloud! Oh well. So while we continue to have life filled with her spirited ways, she is doing great!
I haven't taken pictures the past few days due to losing our remote. I had to buy a new remote and then donate my camera batteries to that one because I forgot to buy batteries. Geez! And for pete's sake we have NO IDEA where that thing is!!! Not sure if I did something with it or B. Or both. We have searched and searched. So, until I remember to buy new batteries, here are some pics I took last week when the weather was nice. We got out her bike. She's on the verge of being able to ride it with the training wheels. Our slope of a drive makes it slightly hard but we will be at it if Spring would HURRY UP and get here for real!
Enjoy the pics... Oh and I'm not sure what important business she was taking care of on the phone. Something that had to do with Courtney! You are not forgotten!

Blizzard 08
Sooooo much snow. What to do with it all!? We decided to make snow ice cream with it! But that's the next post... These pics are around 11am on Sat, the 8th of March. I think we got a few more inches after these were taken. I've seen worseand am just glad it will be over. I guess I need to change my In like a Lamb, out like a Lion... post to be in like a Lion, out like a Lamb because we had 2 Spring like days and then BAM! Here we are, in the worst winter we've had yet this year. Which is fine with me! Let's get it over with and on to Spring!

In like a Lamb, out like a Lion...
In like a Lion, out like a Lamb...In like a Lamb, out like a Lion. We will see if this saying holds true which I gotta say, I feel like it usually does. I hope Spring has come to your neck of the woods. It certainly has here and ahh, it just feels and even smells so good. I even let my girl have some bare legs today in her skirt which is always fun. Well, maybe you don't look forward to that when your kids are 10 but I sure have loved her cute little thighs "coming out" the past few years. Of course her first summer she was such a scrawny little baby it wasn't quite as fun but just about. Now I just can't get over how cute she is! I know I'm biased but thought I'd share some cute pics from this morning. In case you're wondering, I sell her clothes on eBay so I always try to get pics of her really cute outfits so I can put them on eBay when I sell them. That's why I have all these random, on the stairs, pics. I tried to take her pic elsewhere today but she likes the steps. She is such a creature of habit. Not sure who she got that from!
