I can remember making Snow Ice Cream as a kid. My mom sent the recipe to us recently so we had a go at it today. She LOVED making it and even liked eating it. I have to admit, I like it too. But I can't figure out if it tastes good or its the nostalgia. Here's our little venture today. Don't worry all you grandma types, she has on like 5 layers and we were only out in the cold for a couple of minutes. Her gloves, well she hates them and we couldn't find them anyway and its hard to scoop ice cream into a bowl with big mittens. Her coat was in the car which Ryan took to get us a few things. She hates wearing it in the car seat... anyway, I digress. Here are some fun Snow Ice Cream pictures!

How cool! I had seen a couple of different people mention this on thier blog, but no one actually showed it, or did it for that matter.
Is that all it takes, snow & sugar?
Here is the recipe for those of you who are interested.
Love,
Mom
• 1 gallon snow
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups milk
DIRECTIONS
1. When it starts to snow, place a large, clean bowl outside to collect the flakes. When full, stir in sugar and vanilla to taste, then stir in just enough milk for the desired consistency. Serve at once.
She's so pretty...love her hair! Do you think our next two babies will be as opposite?
